It works!
I'm never alone.
I always feel safe.
I feel loved without judgment, unconditionally.
It gives me comfort in any circumstance.
It brought peace and harmony to my life.
It fills me with hope and joy.
It's my opportunity to bless others.
It's the ultimate spiritual freedom.
Interestingly, one of the best descriptions of the benefits of this practice came from the humorist Mark Twain.  Twain was one of Eddy's harshest critics.  Yet he admitted  that, for those who embrace it, the study and prayer she recommended "has revolutionized their lives, banished the glooms that shadowed them, and filled them and flooded them with sunshine and gladness and peace...."

That's extravagant language from someone who otherwise had little good to say about Mary Baker Eddy.  Also, it's an accurate summary of what people experience through this practice.  With the caveat, always, that no one path is right for everyone!
Twain went on to say that Eddy's teachings turn "the night of life into day, its terrors into myths, its lamentations into songs of emancipation and rejoicing."
Why this Practice?
No one spiritual path is right for everyone.  But this practice is definitely worth exploring.  Especially if you face "insurmountable" obstacles.  Especially if you're an unconventional thinker.  Especially if both Christianity and Eastern faith traditions  resonate with you.
Asked why they study and pray as Mary Baker Eddy taught, people say:

"Spirit is the Ego which never dreams, but understands all things; which never errs, and is ever conscious; which never believes, but knows; which is never born and never dies.  Spiritual man is the likeness of this Ego.  Man is not God, but like a ray of light which comes from the sun, man, the outcome of God, reflects God."  M.B.
